Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Ph.D.

Dr. Pepper Schwartz, AARP Love and Relationship Ambassador, received her Ph.D. from Yale University and is a Professor of Sociology at the University of Washington in Seattle whose special focus is personal relationships. She is a fellow of the International Academy of Sex Research and the Past President of the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality. She is also the relationship expert for PerfectMatch.com and has written two books on online dating: Finding Your Perfect Match and Prime: Adventures and Advice on Love, Sex and the Sensual Years.

Among Dr. Schwartz's 17 books and numerous academic articles is her forthcoming collaboration with AARP and Wiley, AARP Dating After 50 for Dummies. She and her family live on a horse farm in Washington state.
