
Julie Jason is a personal money manager and author who began her career as a securities lawyer on Wall Street 30 years ago. In 1992, she co-founded Jackson, Grant Investment Advisers, Inc., an SEC-registered investment adviser.
Previously, Jason worked for a major broker-dealer as an assistant general counsel, president of its managed futures subsidiary and president of its trust company. Her award-winning fifth book, The AARP Retirement Survival Guide: How to Make Smart Financial Decisions in Good Times and Bad, was published in 2009. Her latest work, Managing Retirement Wealth: An Expert Guide to Personal Portfolio Management in Good Times and Bad, has been awarded with the 2012 EIFLE (Excellence in Financial Literacy Education) Award - Investing and Retirement Planning, the 2012 Axiom Business Book Silver Award in Personal Finance/Retirement Planning/Investing and the 2012 International Book Award in Personal Finance.
