Gary Matsumoto

Gary Matsumoto is an Emmy Award-winning reporter and producer, entrepreneur and multimedia business development consultant based in Washington, D.C. He has reported from more than 40 countries, in part as a foreign correspondent for NBC News. Matsumoto is currently the senior editor for news and programming at CCTV International, China Central Television’s global English-language news channel.

Matsumoto earned a bachelor of arts degree in English literature from Wheaton College. He also did post-graduate work in religion and literature at the Divinity School of the University of Chicago and studied French at the University of Québec at Trois-Rivières and the University of Paris, Sorbonne III.
