Emeril Lagasse is an award-winning chef and the proprietor of 12 restaurants, including three in New Orleans. A national personality, he has shared his culinary talents on television and radio. His latest TV program, Emeril’s Table, airs on the Hallmark Channel.
Lagasse is the best-selling author of 16 cookbooks including Emeril’s New New Orleans Cooking, which introduced his creative take on Creole cuisine. In 2002, he established the Emeril Lagasse Foundation to support educational programs that mentor young people through the culinary arts and better nutrition.
A native of Fall River, Massachusetts, Lagasse earned a degree from Johnson and Wales University, then polished his cooking skills in Paris and Lyon, France.
