Mollie Katzen is one of the best-selling cookbook authors of all time, with more than six million books in print. She is widely credited with moving healthful, vegetarian food from the "fringe" to the center of the American dinner plate, in part by writing and illustrating the groundbreaking Moosewood Cookbook. Katzen was inducted into the prestigious James Beard Cookbook Hall of Fame in 2007.
Katzen has been a consultant to Harvard University Dining Services since 2003; she is also a culinary advisor to the University of California at Berkeley and the University of Massachusetts. She is currently working on a 200-recipe cookbook and memoir, due out in 2013.
