Maria Antonieta Collins is a respected TV journalist, radio personality, columnist and author. Born in Mexico, she launched her 30-year broadcast career covering California for Televisa. Collins’ work at the Spanish International Network (now Univision) and Telemundo earned her four Emmy Awards and an Edward R. Murrow Award. She hosts a weekly radio show, Casos y Cosas de Collins, and writes weekly columns for both El Sol de Mexico and the Miami-based El Nuevo Herald.
Collins has published seven best-selling self-improvement books and a biography of Fidel Castro’s younger sister, Juanita. A mother of three and a student of classical piano, Collins resides in Miami, Florida.
