Carol Burnett

Carol Burnett, an award-winning actress and best-selling author, is one of America’s most beloved performers.  Best known for The Carol Burnett Show, a variety series that won 25 Emmy Awards during its 11-year run, Burnett is also highly acclaimed for her dramatic roles on television, film and Broadway.

Films to her credit include Annie, Noises Off and Four Seasons.

She starred in two made-for-TV movies, Friendly Fire (for which she won a Peabody Award) and Life of the Party: The Story of Beatrice.  A Presidential Medal of Freedom and Kennedy Center Honor recipient, Burnett was also inducted into the Television Hall of Fame.  She studied journalism and acting at the University of California Los Angeles.
