Brittany Feinson is an enthusiastic communicator with a passion for brand-building, storytelling and creating marketing programs that drive engagement and shift perception. For over 25 years, she has helped Fortune 500 businesses and nonprofits turn complex issues into simple, clear communications. As AARP Foundation Senior Vice President, Marketing & Communications, she creates change and drives impact while growing the AARP Foundation brand and protecting its reputation as AARP’s philanthropic affiliate focused on the social mission of ending senior poverty. Brittany leads a high-performing team with expertise in traditional and digital marketing, branding, data analytics, writing, design, fundraising, and internal and external communications.
Prior to joining AARP Foundation, Brittany served in a variety of senior level consumer marketing and communications roles at Marriott, Hilton, Verizon, and FleishmanHillard. At NPR, she promoted public radio stations and programs, including, Morning Edition, All Things Considered, and Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me. Currently, Brittany serves as a judge for the Digiday Greater Good Awards, Digiday Content Marketing Awards, and PRWeek’s Purpose Awards — where she shares her expertise and finds inspiration that she can bring back to the Foundation. Brittany has been recognized by PRNews as a top communications leader. Brittany graduated from Skidmore College with a degree in English and sociology.
