How does AARP support age-friendly communities?

AARP works with local leaders nationwide to build more welcoming communities for people of all ages. Creating safe, affordable and accommodating neighborhoods enables everyone to live more independently, stay in their homes longer and remain actively engaged.

What do Livable Community volunteers do? 

Livable Community volunteers work to improve housing, transportation and health services by attending local events, meeting with officials, serving on boards/councils, leading other volunteers and more.
