Do we feel we have to look young in order to be viewed as beautiful? These women, including Jean, above, from Idiosyncratic Fashionistas, say no! Unapologetic about their years, they cherish their faces with every fine line. No judgments here, but we wondered, would they ever consider a bit of a nip and tuck in their future?

Why is aging naturally important to you?
It’s a natural process! Embrace and enjoy it. We can't escape it no matter what. I don't want to look like my daughter at 70! I want her to look at me and say, "I am going to be gorgeous when I am Mom's age.”
If plastic surgery were free and painless, would you get it?
No, never. I love the way I look at each stage.

Why is aging naturally important to you?
I love being authentic … and my wrinkles and crinkles don’t take away the sparkle and gratitude I feel in my soul, now more than ever.
If plastic surgery were free and painless, would you get it?
If I knew it was safe, yes, I probably would … just so I could save time primping, and get up and go and look refreshed.

Why is aging naturally important to you?
I want to show it can be done! I’m concerned for the younger generation, as more and more of them are turning to cosmetic surgery to fit the mold of what’s considered “beautiful”... big butts, big lips, big tits, fake hair and now eyelashes, too. It makes me sad …
If plastic surgery were free and painless, would you get it?
No. I would take great pride in knowing I did it my way and chose to age gracefully.

Why is aging naturally important to you?
Jean: It is a normal part of life. That is not to say I don't wear bright red lipstick and nail polish, but I don't subscribe to artifice.
Val: One advantage of aging naturally is I get more compliments on my gray hair than I did on my brown hair!
If plastic surgery were free and painless, would you get it?
Jean: No. I think they all look alike!
Val: I haven’t so far — but I might. I just want to recognize myself in the mirror!

Why is aging naturally important to you?
Aging naturally is the way God designed me, and that’s good enough for me. The hype to look younger implies I am not good enough now.
If plastic surgery were free and painless, would you get it?
No way! I am happy with the way I look at every age.

Why is aging naturally important to you?
Aging naturally to me is about being graceful and elegant — and smiling a lot. I admire people who are confident and comfortable in who they are.
If plastic surgery were free and painless, would you get it?
If I can add “if it looks perfect and has no side effects whatsoever” — I might be interested … in the future.

Why is aging naturally important to you?
I am happy in my body. I see signs of age — which I mostly accept and adore. But you have to take care of yourself. There is nothing wrong with "looking your age" unless you don't nourish your face, body and spirit with positive emotions — and good creams. Yves Saint Laurent used to say that after 40, you are responsible for your own face.
If plastic surgery were free and painless, would you get it?
I would! Maybe some filler. Why not?

Why is aging naturally important to you?
Who in the world wants to be young forever? I love aging naturally. I love my gray hair and just look for ways to make it more interesting! I think that as long as I live, I will do the things that make me feel happy and alive. Passion and love have no expiration date.
If plastic surgery were free and painless, would you get it?
I would not touch my face — but maybe my two big twins.
