Hi I'm Carla. I've been caring for my sister Leslie for the past year. I decided to have her live with me since our mom Emma is aging. At 73 it was hard for her to care for her. Our Father passed away two years ago in August of a heart attack and since than it's been a real struggle for mom to care for her since. Leslie was born with MS and needs a lot of one on one care. I work from home which makes it easier to give her the care she needs. I have a terrific husband that supports my decisions 100%. He's very compassionate and I'm very lucky to have a husband like him. I would rather family take care of my sister and use group homes and nursing facilities as the last resort.
