FROM TEXAS

Hi my name is Anthony and I take care of my Grandpa Charlie. He is currently facing Alzheimers, he has been slowly getting it for about 2 years now. He is my grandfather but to me be is more like a dad. I used to go fishing with him on weekends, and he would go to my high school football games. Even though he is diagnosed with Alzheimers, I try my best to rekindle memories of me and him, from taking him fishing, to my sons football games, he remembers us from time and again, but he loses memories every once in awhile and forgets. It hurts me to see him like this, the same loving man, but a forgetful mind. I love him with all my heart, and I am trying to make the best environment for him, just as he gave me as a kid.
