FROM RHODE ISLAND

Three years ago my husband, Harry, was diagnosed with lung cancer. He first had a tumor that had to be removed from his brain, that's when they realized that it came from his lung. He was in and out of the hospital for 2 1/2 years. I was always asked if I wanted help & I told them no. I loved my husband dearly & I wanted to take care of him. Some days it was very hard, some days we had a lot of doctor appointments. Unfortunately, February 20, 2015, he passed away. He had come down with pneumonia & the chemo made his system too weak to fight it. I miss him terribly & would give anything to have him back with me. While I was taking care of him, I wrote a prayer about caregivers.
