FROM OHIO

My 85 year old husband Adam is severely disabled from failed spinal fusion. He also has severe dementia. He is very hard to care for, refusing showers and shaving. His appetite is poor and he is almost completely confined to the house. So I am too. He can't operate a phone or the TV. I cook three meals a day. I do everything in our home as he can't do anything indoors or out. We've been married for 63 years and have three grown children. I can't say there are any good or positive aspects of caregiving.
