My name is Janet and my Grandmother's name is Helen. I have been caring for my grandmother for the last 3 years. She has COPD and is very frail and needs help getting around. My mother passed away when I was young and she was an only child and my grandpa passed away two years ago. I am the only one left who can care for her. I moved into her home to help her. I pick up her medicine and go grocery shopping for her. She can still do some things herself. In these two years I've grown so close to my grandmother and she tells me all about my mother when she was a child. I'm happy that we have this time to bond.
