Volunteering With Faith In Action Provides Satisfying Opportunities

Helping older citizens in their homes as long as possible is the focus of AARP Michigan's work with seven Faith In Action programs in the state. This collaboration provides excellent opportunities for AARP members to become volunteers in these worthwhile community service programs.
AARP Michigan Faith In Action volunteers can help others continue to live with independence and dignity. These programs provide volunteer opportunities in the following cities in Michigan: Grand Rapids, Grosse Pointe, Lansing, Monroe, Owosso, Sault Sainte Marie and South Haven.
Below is a description of the programs in each city. Those interested in volunteering should e-mail their name, address, e-mail address and phone number to Karen Kafantaris in the Michigan AARP state office.
