AARP state offices are seeking nominations for the 2013 State Andrus Award for Community Service. The association’s most prestigious volunteer tribute recognizes outstanding individuals who are sharing their experience, talents and skills to enrich the lives of others.

Nominations will be evaluated based on your answers to the questions below. Please be specific and detailed. Use examples that are quantifiable, if possible. Each answer should be 500 words or less.

Couples or partners who perform service together are also eligible; however, teams are not eligible
The recipient must live in the awarding state
