About Us
AARP Foundation BACK TO WORK 50+ is a program designed to empower the more than 4 million unemployed and underemployed older adults with the tools, strategies, and support needed to pursue meaningful employment. As a virtual volunteer career coach in this pilot program, you’ll work one-to-one with jobseekers to explore their professional backgrounds, build confidence and support them through an active job search.
You’ll help participants prepare résumés, sharpen interview skills, and develop effective networking and job-search strategies — skills that make a real difference in today’s competitive job market.
No prior coaching experience is required — AARP Foundation provides all training and resources.
