In Oklahoma, continued signs of hope and rebuilding are everywhere. Communities affected by severe weather and the devastating tornado of May 2013 are making progress to restore normalcy to their neighborhoods, one day at the time.

With the help of generous donors, we raised more than $373,900 to assist disaster relief efforts, and with a matching gift from AARP and AARP Foundation, were able to provide more than $674,000 in aid for affected communities. These funds fueled the work of local organizations — many of them dedicated to serving the needs of older adults — in their emergency relief and recovery efforts.
