“It doesn’t seem like work to me … this is the right thing to do.”
According to her community, Erika Murdoch is “one of those that really wholeheartedly wants to help.” She feeds both body and soul for seniors like Tom McSpedden and Kepina Hasegawa.
The Rewards of a Life Spent in Service: Jeannie Rubero
“There’s a passion and a purpose to help others.”
Caring for her loved ones inspired Jeannie Rubero to seek out her dream job. She’s been directing services at the local senior center for more than 24 years, doing what she loves for people she considers family.
A Heart for Helping: How Natosha Hayward Found Her Calling
“My life experiences make it almost impossible for me not to empathize.”
Natosha Hayward believes life led her to a career in service. As she says, “What better way to give back than to be able to help someone with the things that you learned from through life’s obstacles?”
