Who We Are

AARP Foundation creates and advances effective solutions to reduce poverty for and with older adults.

We Are Stronger. Together.

AARP Foundation creates and advances effective solutions to reduce poverty for and with older adults. We fight systemic injustice, and we help older adults with low income seize opportunities to re-enter the workforce, bolster their budgets, and give back to their communities.

But we don’t do it alone. Our donors, partners, volunteers, board and staff are united in a single purpose: to ensure that vulnerable older adults move from merely surviving to thriving.

Together, we make a difference.

Through vigorous legal advocacy and evidence-based solutions, and by strengthening supportive community connections, we foster resilience, advance equity and restore hope.
