Health care insecurity affects 50 to 64 year olds who are either uninsured or under-insured. In Alaska, more than 22,000 Baby Boomers are uninsured and more are under-insured.
While Alaska ranks fourth in the nation in volunteerism, seventy percent of Americans report they have never been asked to volunteer.
