AARP Driver Safety is celebrating Latino heritage and culture during Hispanic Heritage Month and participants are invited to attend an AARP Driver Safety Spanish classroom course or online course for $5 during Sept. 15-Oct. 15 (the course is normally $12 for AARP members and $14 for nonmembers*).

The AARP Driver Safety classroom course is the nation's first and largest course designed for drivers age 50 and older. You'll learn proven safety strategies to maintain your confidence behind the wheel. Plus, you could get a great discount on your car insurance!**
How do I redeem the $5 offer?
You can find a classroom course by checking the course locator or by calling 877-390-8789. Registration is required and participants will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, as space is limited. To redeem the $5 offer, you just have to present the coupon (PDF) to the host organization or the volunteer instructor.

How do I find a course?
To locate and register for an AARP Driver Safety course, visit www.aarp.org/cursos or call 888-AARP-NOW (888-227-7669).
When can I take the course?
The promotion is valid for the Spanish classroom courses and Spanish or English online courses*** utilizing the promo code HERENCIA during Sept. 15-Oct.15, 2012. Classroom courses held before or after this timeframe are not permitted to offer the $5 promotion.
The online course, however, is different; as long as registration utilizing the promo code is done during Sept. 15-Oct.15 participants have 60 days to complete the course from the day they utilize the code.
Is the promotion valid for a discounted online course*?
Yes, the Hispanic Heritage Month Promotion is available for online courses utilizing the promo code HERENCIA. Participants have until Oct.15 to register using the promo code. After registering, they have 60 days to complete the online course. For example, if a participant registers on Oct.15, he or she has until Dec.15 to complete the course.
