Shereen Remez is AARP’s Group Executive Officer (GEO), Member Value. In addition to leading the Membership Group, Shereen leads the planning and direction for AARP’s Member Value Agenda, which is responsible for recruiting and retaining AARP’s more than 36 million members, building strong relationships with members and delivering the programs, services, resources and products that they demand.
Shereen joined AARP in 2001 as Director of Knowledge Management and led AARP’s enterprise consumer and market research and knowledge architecture activities, AARP’s Research Information Center, Strategic Analysis and Intelligence, and AARP’s Archives and Records Management programs.
Prior to working at AARP, Shereen had over 30 years of experience in various executive positions within the Federal government, including CIO, CKO, and Director of Communications at the US General Services Administration. Shereen received her PhD. in human development from the University of Maryland. She resides in Maryland with her husband and 17 year old son.
