Welcome!

Welcome to North Carolina…the Tar Heel State!

Check out our new announcement board for AARP North Carolina news and other items of interest to members in our state.

AARP provides unique benefits and services to members in North Carolina and excels as a dynamic presence in communities across the state. We help members make the most of life after 50 with information and education, advocacy and opportunities for community service. Our goal is simple: to help members enjoy each day to the fullest; to make it easy and rewarding for them to connect with active, like-minded people; and to help create ways for them to serve others.

Some 5,000 people belong to one of our 75 North Carolina local chapters, which meet monthly to provide important information and promote fellowship.

AARP volunteers in North Carolina share their rich experience by giving back to society in a wide variety of ways.
