When You Should and Shouldn't Be Vaccinated

Unless you're exposed to smallpox, don't get vaccinated if you:
- are allergic to the vaccine;
- have or have had skin conditions like eczema;
- now have conditions such as acne, psoriasis, chicken pox or burns;
- have an immune system that has been weakened by cancer treatment, transplant, HIV infection or other illness;
- take steroids.
