Remodel, More Than $75,000

Remodeling this home added style and ease of use. The original family room was modified to open up to a new master bedroom suite, which includes a no-step shower, an accessible vanity area, wide doorways, and decorative grab bars. The addition is as fashionable as it is functional.
The firm’s remodel emphasizes easy movement with an open plan including archways and wide doorways. Those features are enhanced even further with automation and sensor units that switch on lights and open doors when someone enters. Bathrooms are fitted with automated showers and baths powered by an energy-saving, tankless water heater and toilets, sinks, and seating fixtures designed for safe use. Slip-resistant interior floors, grab bars, lever door handles, and dimmer switches add to the overall sense of security and well-being that the home imparts.
All the design details are incorporated in a stylish manner—granite countertops, stone tiling, and light-welcoming glass bricks in the shower. The client wanted comfort, ease of use, and beauty, and Inside Design Details delivered.
