The first stop in our CarFit checklist is to determine whether or not you are the only driver of your vehicle.
Usually when there is more than one driver of a car, there is a difference in how each one sits relative to the steering wheel, adjusts the seat for comfort or visibility, or adjusts the mirrors.
Even if you are generally the only driver of your vehicle, visiting family members—or even a car-wash or auto-shop worker—might move the seat, mirrors, or steering wheel. You may need to make adjustments to your car each time you drive.
Next stop: Do you wear your seat belt?
