The Dark Knight Rises (July 20)
The most grownup of all the superhero franchises is back, and although Batman himself, Christian Bale, is just 38, he’s surrounded by a who’s who of veteran stars, including Liam Neeson (59), Gary Oldman (54), Morgan Freeman (74) and Michael Caine (79). Gotham City is being terrorized by a bad guy named Bane (Tom Hardy) who, among other things, blows up the burg’s entire football team in mid-game (in the movie’s trailer, at least, running back Heinz Ward still scores!). Batman returns from exile just in time to foil Bane … we hope!
