Jennifer Aniston is looking forward to turning 50 — and beyond, she says in a new interview with Glamour.

"I don’t think life stops after 50. If anything, it gets more and more exciting,” says Aniston, 48. "For some reason, we don’t honor or pay respect to aging. It’s something that we look at as a negative, and yet every single person on this planet does it.

"I don’t understand why it’s not something that's celebrated, why there’s some sort of an expiration date on who you are as a person worth watching and a story being told about you,” she says.

In the interview, Aniston also makes fun of some trends from the 1990s that are returning —particularly tiny sunglasses — and talks about the phrase she wishes she could ban from the tabloids — “Finally Pregnant.”

"Everybody likes to get into each other’s panty drawers. Stay in your own backyard and let everybody live their lives," she tells Glamour.

Aniston won't turn 50 until February 2019. The only other star of the TV hit Friends who has yet to reach the milestone is Matthew Perry, who also will be 50 in 2019.
