Discover the Chinatown–International District During the 2026 FIFA World Cup

Discover how local partnerships are creating lasting impact in the Chinatown–International District

AARP Washington

As Seattle welcomes the world for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, AARP Washington has teamed up with local organizations to spotlight one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods—the Chinatown–International District (CID).

Creating livable communities where people of all ages can thrive is at the heart of AARP’s mission. It’s about investing in neighborhoods like the CID—places filled with culture, history, and deep community roots—and helping them flourish, so residents, small businesses, and future generations can grow and thrive together.

Through these community-led projects, AARP and its partners are helping make the CID a must-visit destination filled with public art, cultural experiences, and local flavor, designed to have lasting impact well beyond FIFA. Whether you're visiting for the games or live nearby, now is the perfect time to explore, connect, and show your support.
