AARP Foundation’s Litigation (AFL) team works to improve and ensure the ability to earn an income free from discrimination due to age or disability, to manage income dispersal challenged by predatory pricing in housing and consumer products, including high cost prescriptions and healthcare costs; to protect benefits including pensions, 401(k) plans, and various health, life and disability insurance plans; to address investor concerns including market pricing manipulation, and to assist in building a safety net through access to low-income benefits.
