More 50-plus Americans are finding out that owning a small business can be a great opportunity. Whether out of necessity to generate income or to turn a passion into a paycheck, older entrepreneurs are starting small businesses more than any other age group.

This video highlights how AARP supports developing opportunities for experienced workers to pursue entrepreneurship as a means to generate income, boost financial security and assist others in meeting needs.

Also as part of this effort, AARP and the Small Business Administration are working jointly to connect 50-plus Americans with small business development resources to give them the support they need to start or grow a business.
