Budgeting and Record Keeping

Budgeting and Record Keeping

A budget is simply a snapshot of how—and why—money flows through your life. We call this your "cash flow." The process of creating a budget is actually a process of self-discovery, because how you save and spend money reveals how you live your life. So, think of a budget as a picture of how money flows into and out of your life, and how you choose to lead your life by using it.

Maintaining an organized, easily accessible record keeping system is a useful way to monitor a budget. If record keeping isn't one of your strengths, we have some suggestions and tools to help you.
