Divided We Fail is proud to sponsor this year's Retirement Security Conference, "Completing the Retirement Equation: Making Savings Last a Lifetime." Much of the retirement security focus in the United States has been aimed at helping consumers accumulate assets. We must now turn to the next phase: spending down retirement nest-eggs. This conference will convene thought-leaders and the media to explore, discuss, and debate options for ensuring that Americans will be able to make their savings last throughout their retirement years. We will examine the roles of US government, employers, financial market place, and individual consumers.
