The Department of Labor (DOL) operates a range of
employment-related services through the state and local workforce
development systems. A primary link for employers is the Business and Industry page
on DOL's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) site.
This page provides information on: the Business Relations Group,
Connecting to Qualified Employees, Government Incentives and
Assistance and other topics.
At the local level, employment services are provided by One-Stop Career Centers, which offer a blend of employment services for workers, job seekers, and businesses under one roof. Each "One-Stop" is managed by a Workforce Investment Board which is headed by a member of the local business community.
