Winning Strategies 2006
Due to employee requests, Adecco has made the following improvements in the past three years: implemented a 'Milestone Anniversary' recognition program and a 'Diversity' recognition program, added a new service award to recognize longevity of temporary workers, and added additional holidays to the annual schedule.
Other Benefits:
- Recruiting: Adecco uses senior placement agencies to target mature workers and retirees for employment. The company recently re-launched their Renaissance program. This program is aimed directly at recruiting mature workers for temporary positions and provides special recruiting materials with information on training and employment opportunities as well as benefits information.
- Workplace Culture/Continued Opportunities: The company offers the following learning and development programs to its full- and part-time employees (working 30 hrs/week): tuition reimbursement (10% used in past 12 months), in-house classroom training (42% used in past 12 months), on-line training (85% used in past 12 months), and certification classes (100% used in past 12 months). Long-service anniversaries are celebrated with gifts, parties, and awards. Adecco offices partner with clients such as AARP to provide temporary workers with client-specific training.
