This is a full report on the 2006 Kaiser/Hewitt survey of large
businesses that provide retiree health benefits to their workers.
The 2006 study, the fifth joint survey since 2002, analyzes responses
from a select sample of 302 businesses with 1,000 or more employees.

for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Employer Forum
The CMS Employer forum includes associations representing over
10,000 employers and almost 78 million employees. The Forum is a
vehicle for ongoing dialogue between the employer community and
CMS. It holds monthly conference calls with employers to discuss
Medicare-related issues, ultimately with a perspective to the employers’ bottom
line.
