The ability of neurologist Oliver Sacks to tell fascinating stories about his patients is a gift that has earned him the informal title “poet laureate of medicine.”
In his latest book, "Musicophilia," he explores the mystery of the human mind as seen through the brain's interactions with music. Dr. Sacks believes that music may even have the ability to heal some patients with Tourette syndrome or Parkinson’s disease.
