We all have guilty pleasures. AARP Book Channel contributor Marilyn Johnson has one that some people think is too weird to admit: she loves reading obituaries. Johnson talks with host Mike Cuthbert about why obits contain some of the most imaginative writing in all of journalism.

Marilyn Johnson's new book, The Dead Beat, highlights obit gems that are more than summaries of how people died - they are tributes to how they lived.
