Admit it: You've searched high and low for the eyeglasses that are already on your head; you've groped for the forgotten name; and you've had the mystifying experience of standing in your closet wondering, "Why did I come in here?"

Watch all Walt's toons. Vote for your favorite (look left, and down for the Laugh Out Loud poll!)

In his rendition of the classic Barbra Streisand hit "The Way We Were," two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning cartoonist and animator Walt Handelsman takes a hilarious look at middle-age forgetfulness.

"We have to be able to poke fun at ourselves," says Handelsman. "You can wring your hands about your lapses of memory, or you can say, 'Hey, this is it!' Be happy that you're growing older, that you're maturing, that you're smarter, that you're wiser. Plus, all of your friends are growing older with you.

"So let's have some fun with it!"

Coming soon — more toons. A wry look at our "boomerang" kids, and a jocular swipe at our obsession with looking young via lifts, tucks and enhancements provided by plastic surgery.

You may also Laugh Out Loud at What Goes Down ... Must Come Up! (The Lighter Side of Nips and Tucks) and Hello Muddah! (The Lighter Side of Boomerang Kids).
