En español  |  If you have a hard time finding music you love, or you miss the days when radio turned you on to great new sounds — we’ve got a radio player for you. Welcome to AARP Internet Radio, where you’ll find music you want to hear, right here on your computer.

Our new radio player has been programmed with 18 music stations specifically for AARP.org visitors. Whatever your taste — rock, R&B, country, jazz, classical, Latin, gospel — there’s a station for you, full of classics, favorites and handpicked fresh sounds. It’s easy to use and it’s free. Plus there's a channel of AARP Radio broadasts to check out.

How to Start. Launch the player using the link above, or by clicking on “Listen Now” in the header at the top of the music pages or by clicking on “Listen” in the bar at the top of any page. The player will open and you will see the first few stations displayed on the screen. If you want to view more station choices, click on the scroll just below the station descriptions and move it to the right. When you find the station you want to listen to, click on the play button in the middle of the album cover. The first song you hear will be from that album.

Continue for as Long as You Like. Once you start listening to a channel, you can get back to enjoying the AARP website, checking email or anything else you were doing on your computer. Your chosen station will keep playing. If you need to get up or take a break, but don’t want to miss the song that’s playing, you can pause it and press play again when you’re ready. If you don’t like a song, you can skip it and go to the next one. You can skip up to six times in an hour.

To Change Stations. Click on the Stations tab at the top of the player, and you’ll get back to the display you started with — and your song will keep playing until you’ve chosen another station. There’s also an Artist Bio tab, if you want to get more information about the artist you’re listening to.

We hope you’ll try AARP Internet Radio and find a new favorite station — or two or three. We built the stations and chose the music with our visitors and members in mind; we want you to find the music you like whenever you want, and listen to it as often as you’d like, for as long as you like.
