A Message From the AARP Missouri State President

Welcome to AARP Missouri's new and improved Web site. We've been listening to the comments and feedback from many of our members and volunteers about the "state of our state" Web presence, and knew we were in need of a "refresh." This newly designed Web site is a wonderful example of how hard team work and our constant desire to do better results in a product that is responsive to our members and volunteers.

Our goal is to bring you more up-to-date information about what's happening at AARP in Missouri. Now, when you visit us at www.aarp.org/mo, you'll find the latest information about our advocacy efforts and community service initiatives. You will be able to read about our legislative successes and our agenda for the 2004 session. You will be able to find out where we are bringing special forums and programs that address the changing needs of Missouri's older citizens. We'll introduce you to some of the "movers and shakers" in the Show Me State's AARP executive and volunteer corps, and you can learn how to become part of our AARP team.

We welcome your comments on how we can continue to serve you in the most efficient and comprehensive way possible. Please e-mail your comments to moaarp@aarp.org and remember to check in frequently for updates.

Welcome again to the new way to access information about AARP Missouri!

Bennie Daugherty, Jr.
