Author Dan Buettner spent five years traveling the globe in an attempt to discover the secret to a long, happy life. What he found, as he relates in his book Thrive: Finding Happiness the Blue Zones Way, was that there are certain places on Earth where the people are simply happier. How do they pull it off? AARP Radio host Mike Cuthbert talks to Buettner about the secrets of the happiest places on the planet — the "blue zones," as Buettner calls them — and what the rest of us can learn from them.
