Since 1968, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide team of over 26,000 volunteers have provided tax assistance to more than 75 million older taxpayers with low to moderate income. AARP Foundation Tax-Aide is the nation’s largest volunteer-based free tax assistance and preparation service.

As a Tax-Aide volunteer, you’ll receive training and support with IRS-certification, learn new skills, and connect with people in your community while giving back. There's a variety of volunteer roles at over 4,000 sites nationwide and also flexible virtual opportunities. Whatever your skill set, there's a role for you!
