AARP Foundation has earned its third consecutive Charity Navigator 4-star rating. Receiving four out of a possible four stars indicates that AARP Foundation adheres to good governance and other best practices that minimize the chance of unethical activities and consistently executes our mission in a fiscally responsible way.
Only 10% of the charities rated by Charity Navigator have received at least 3 consecutive 4-star evaluations. According to Charity Navigator, this indicates that AARP Foundation outperforms most other charities in America. This “exceptional” designation from Charity Navigator differentiates AARP Foundation from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.

AARP Foundation is a BBB Accredited Charity Seal Holder, and meets BBB Wise Giving Alliance Standards for Charity Accountability.
The Standards of Accountability were developed to assist donors in making sound giving decisions and to foster public confidence in charitable organiztions.
