
Leeza Gibbons is a businesswoman, philanthropist and television editor and journalist who now hosts AARP’s My Generation, a lifestyle TV series. She burst onto the national scene as an anchor and reporter on Entertainment Tonight. From 1994 – 2000, she hosted her own daytime talk show, LEEZA, which won three Daytime Emmy Awards.
After losing her mother and grandmother to Alzheimer’s Disease, Gibbons created a national nonprofit, Leeza’s Place, where people newly diagnosed with a memory disorder can get education and empowerment to prepare for the journey ahead. She also informs and uplifts caregivers as AARP’s Ambassador for Care, and has served on the board of the Alzheimer’s Association for more than a decade.
Gibbons’ honors include a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
