About Us
Every tax season, AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteers serve their communities by helping their neighbors complete and file their tax returns. Since 1968, Tax-Aide has helped over 78 million taxpayers. In 2023, over 26,000 volunteers helped AARP Foundation Tax-Aide secure more than $1.1 billion in federal and state refunds for 1.5 million people.
As an AARP Foundation Tax-Aide volunteer, you’ll receive training and support, learn new skills, and connect with people in your community while helping others. We're looking for volunteers for a variety of roles. You can have fun and feel good knowing you're making a positive impact with a team of volunteers.
