Opportunities for Funding
AARP Foundation is working toward a country free of poverty, where no older person feels vulnerable.
Our grants are used to serve vulnerable people 50+ by creating and advancing effective solutions that help them secure the essentials. We’re working side by side with other organizations to reach more people, work more efficiently and make resources go further. We seek to support organizations whose evidence-based interventions can make a direct impact on the low-income 50+ and that align with our strategic priorities. Whether you are a new, innovative organization serving the 50+ or a time-tested one that has supported older adults in need for years, we welcome your grant application.
AARP Foundation focuses on four interconnected priority areas where action and legal advocacy will have the greatest impact: hunger, housing, isolation and income. Grants are intended to address needs in at least one of our four impact areas.
AARP Foundation is paving the way to stable income by improving opportunities for 50+ workers to earn, manage and protect their income as they age.
AARP Foundation is tackling hunger proactively by expanding its work to move beyond awareness and focus on recognizing hunger as a health issue, and maximizing value for the low-income consumer through the existing food supply chain.
AARP Foundation is improving access to safe and affordable housing by developing strategies to address the senior housing crisis and make all of our communities affordable and welcoming for people regardless of age or physical ability.
AARP Foundation is rebuilding connections and preventing isolation for those 50+ by looking at all the connections that make up a person's life and developing strategies to make sure connections stay strong, even in times of stress and crisis.
