Ronald E. Daly Sr., of Olympia Fields, Ill., was elected to the AARP Board of Directors in 2012. Daly retired after 38 years at the RR Donnelley Company, where he began as a factory worker and advanced to the level of president of its largest unit. He later became president and CEO of Oce', USA Holdings, a subsidiary of Oce' NV.
Daly is a member of the Loyola University of Chicago board of trustees, the Loyola School of Business advisory board, the Metropolis Strategies board of directors and the board of the Executive Service Corps. Daly also serves on the boards of U.S. Cellular and SuperValu. In addition, Daly served on the boards of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Junior Achievement of Metropolitan Chicago and of Portland, Ore., and the Environmental Law and Policy Center. Daly has been honored with the YMCA Black Achievers in Industry award, a Corporate Citizens Award from the Centers for New Horizons, a Business Leaders of Color Award from Chicago United and a Business Leader Award from History Makers.
